My first Christmas - a narrative by Lucia Rose Adams

This is the tree that Mummy and I chose from a big field.  A nice boy helped us chop it down, and his family were excited to learn that Mummy's family had a christmas tree farm when she was little!

The tree was somehow magically decorated, and then we went to get Daddy from the train station.  He is very busy this time of year, so he had to work on Christmas Eve.  We all ran to greet him off the train, and then spent Christmas Eve at home.

Mummy put candles on the tree, and we sat around and sang carols and I chimed in with "Da da dahs". Mum and Dad thought it was really cute.  When I went to bed, they had a dinner of lamb, runner beans and grilled asparagus, followed up by copious german biscuits.

In the morning I woke them up early so they could make me a bottle.
Mummy and Daddy got up and had tea and bread&butter while they  were all in their pyjamas. I was dressed in one of my pretty Christmas outfits (although I got lots of dirt on it later!).

Then it was time for unwrapping presents. As usual, they go in the mouth!

Then to church, and a big breakfast, and into the car to Grand & Robbie's house for more presents and more food!
Here I am at Grandpa's house, a bit confused at al the people who are "ants and uncles". Whatever that is..

And here I am, being fed a bottle by Grand (John). Yum.

More presents! Here I am, opening my little keyboard.  This was while my Mum was on the phone with Gugu. I just love music - perhaps I'll take after my Uncle Daniel and go into music too!
